New alliance puts UMusic Hotel Tulum at the center of Mexico's Tulum Renace strategy

The curbs are going in on Calle 7, and the middle of the street is still broken. That is much of Tulum this week: the edges finished while the center waits, a grid that never caught up with the colonias built on top of it, a December already nearly full after a summer the hotels would rather not repeat. Three people are being held over the killing of a taxi driver in the center; that stands on its own. The rest is a town working through the quiet months, plaques going up in eight kitchens, hatchlings on the sand. The middle of the street will get there. Here it is, curbs and all.
