Anyma opens Zamna Tulum's tenth anniversary season on January 4

Thirty two kilos of litter off one beach, sieved out of the sand on a Friday, three syringes among it. That is a number this town can hold in its hand. The others this week are the hopeful kind: a flight from Chile with no airline and no date attached, a winter schedule that adds up to ten weekly frequencies, a wedding calendar waiting to fill again. Tulum lives between the two, and mostly it just keeps working. The containers went out on the holidays as well, and the parade turned up ten contingents heavier than last year. So here is the week, the weighed and the promised together.
