The sea puts itself right just as the rooms empty, and the town uses the gap to open the ground: pipes going in, a wall coming down, fares argued over line by line, trails cut for five hundred riders. Not all of it will be settled before winter. A minor died in a crash near Cobá on Saturday, and the ambulance sent from Tulum broke down on the way. The clear water should hold a while yet.
