A yoga teacher training in Tulum that doubles as a breathwork facilitator certification opens on October 13 at Tulili, a jungle eco-home near Dos Ojos, and keeps its students on-site for 21 days.
Mindful Muvements Yoga & Breath School runs the residential program through November 3. It is a dual certification: graduates leave with a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate and a ReConnect Breathwork facilitator certification, both earned in the same three weeks. Co-founder Caro Adams says it is rare to find yoga and breathwork certified together in a single training.
Classes start in just over two weeks, and the program is built on range. Five teachers from separate traditions share the schedule, the breathwork credential is taught alongside the yoga curriculum, and Saturdays are given over to the business of teaching.

Five teachers, no single lineage
The school drew its faculty from several traditions. Adams, who co-founded Mindful Muvements with Ricardo, leads the breathwork facilitation training and the business sessions. She is a Y12SR leader, the facilitator credential of the Yoga of 12-Step Recovery program, a certified ReConnect Breathwork facilitator, and the creator of what she calls the Somatic Shift Method. The program says she specializes in somatic release and nervous system regulation and works in clinical settings alongside therapists.
Ricardo, who opened the school with Adams, created the MuvYoga Method and is a 500-hour-certified teacher grounded in Vedanta philosophy. His sessions combine traditional yoga with functional movement and somatic awareness.
Each morning opens with Kundalini Yoga led by Prakash Chegu, who the program says brings more than four decades of personal practice and 20 years of teaching meditation, kriya, and mantra.
Robyn, a 200-hour certified teacher, spent three years in India leading Ashtanga and Vinyasa teacher trainings and here teaches the Ashtanga Primary Series and teaching methodology. Arun, who comes from Mysore, India, and now lives in Tulum, teaches Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa, drawing on his training under Guruji Vijay Kumar and a background in capoeira. Guest teachers take the weekly philosophy sessions.
The announcement and the school's website identify Ricardo, Robyn, and Arun by first name only.
A dual certification in yoga and breathwork
The yoga side covers alignment, applied anatomy and biomechanics, sequencing, voice development, and philosophy across all eight limbs. A supervised practicum puts students in front of a class during the training, so they learn to teach by teaching.
The breathwork certification is taught in parallel, on the same schedule. According to the program, it covers nervous system regulation, emotional processing, trauma-informed facilitation, and professional safety standards, and is designed to take students from their own practice to leading sessions for others.
The school's website adds somatic release and ice bath sessions, a traditional temazcal ceremony, and an online portal that opens before arrival.
Three Saturdays for the business of teaching
Adams calls the third strand Yogapreneurship. It is a series of Saturday sessions on making a living as a teacher, covering how to design retreats and signature programs, how to price and brand them, and how to build multiple income streams.
The calendar lists three Saturdays: October 17, 24, and 31.

Sundays for integration, and no teaching experience needed
Days follow a fixed rhythm of early practice, study, shared meals, and rest, with massages available. Sundays are reserved for integration and reflection. The school does not require any prior teaching experience and says the immersion is open to anyone who wants to deepen a personal practice.
Adams's own summary of what students take home promises very little on paper.
"People often ask me what they'll get from this training, and my honest answer is that I don't know. Only you will," she says. "Yoga means union, a coming home to who we truly are, and when we meet our most authentic self, alignment follows."
The training Caro Adams set out to recreate
For Adams, the program has a personal origin. When she began her own yoga training, she arrived at the school with $180 in her bank account.
"Yoga school absolutely changed my life," she says. "I wanted to recreate that possibility for other people."
Adams describes herself as a somatic facilitator. Her biography traces her path into the work to her own body, after years of severe trauma and chronic illness that she says she moved through by working directly with the nervous system. The same biography lists a master's degree in peace, ethics, and human rights from American University.
The yoga teacher training in Tulum caps enrollment at 18
The school's website limits the group to 18 students, who live and eat on site for the full three weeks. Tulili sits off the Cancún-Tulum federal highway at kilometer 124, near the Dos Ojos cenote park, according to the venue's own website.
Students arrive on October 13. The first business session is four days later; the training closes on November 3, and each graduate is offered a private integration call afterward. Tuition varies by room type and can be paid in installments for up to 18 months, according to the program page at consciouscaro.com.
