Tulum will exhibit the diversity of its tourism offerings at the Mexico City

Promoting other tourist sites in Tulum, and not only the beaches, which currently have a massive arrival of sargassum, will be the strategy to be deployed at the Tianguis Turístico in Mexico City, informed Mario Cruz Rodríguez, businessman and tourism promoter of this municipality.

He said that they will collaborate in a marketing strategy with the main travel agencies in Mexico, since this Tianguis is a space that gives the 32 states of the republic the opportunity to present their offer to visitors.

He commented that the sargasso problem is not an image issue but a contingency of nature, and Tulum has more than sun and beach, so there are segments of cenotes, wellness, culture and gastronomy.

“It seems to me that today Tulum has more, talking about I am and beach, talking about sargasso. Sargasso is not an image issue, it is a natural issue and it seems to me that we have many ranges and segments to offer, such as cenotes and caverns, wellness and culture, we have many things to offer so that tourists know what they can find by visiting our destination,” he said.

He specified that the Tianguis Turístico de México will be held from March 26th to 29th and of course they are already prepared to attend with a very important force with Tulum’s businessmen.

He mentioned that they are ready with the work agendas and business appointments; they will actively participate in a coordinated work with the support of the Federal Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Tourism Promotion Council of Quintana Roo and the private initiative.
