SEDENA Presents Exclusive Investment Opportunities at Tulum Airport
The Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) has expressed a keen interest in fostering local investment in the Felipe Carrillo Puerto Airport located in Tulum. Recognizing the potential economic benefits, Sedena has taken proactive steps to involve local entrepreneurs in the development of the new airport terminal. To provide them with firsthand insight into the opportunities available, approximately 180 entrepreneurs from diverse sectors were cordially invited to visit the airport facilities.
During their visit, the entrepreneurs had the chance to explore various business prospects that the new terminal offers. These opportunities encompass a wide range of areas, including operating restaurants, establishing retail stores, providing transportation services, and participating in the construction sector. Sergio León, the President of Entrepreneurs for Quintana Roo, expressed his satisfaction with the progress made thus far. He revealed that constructive meetings have taken place between his organization and the commercial and construction managers of the airport. The primary objective of these meetings was to establish a platform for collaboration, enabling entrepreneurs in the construction industry to actively participate in the airport project. León highlighted the immense potential for growth and emphasized the significance of establishing a strong partnership with Sedena well before the planned inauguration in December 2023.
