Enhancing Connectivity: Governor Announces Expansion of Bypass 180 after President AMLO’s Visit

After President Andrés Manuel López Obrador’s visit over the May 5 weekend, the Governor has announced plans for the expansion of bypass 180 in the city.

In an official statement, Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa has expressed that AMLO has given his approval to this significant endeavor, which is regarded as crucial for enhancing the movement of people and fostering better connectivity between the northern and southern parts of the state.

Governor Lezama has confirmed the extension of bypass 180-D, the thoroughfare that links the Cancun-Mérida highways with the Cancun-Tulum highway. As part of the expansion, a complete section of the bypass will be widened to accommodate four lanes.
