Shooting of the Mexican movie “Todas menos Tú” filmed in Tulum ends
Last Tuesday, March 14, in the vicinity of the Raíces Theater, located within the facilities of Bahia Principe Grand Tulum, took place the closing ceremony of the film project “All but You”, a Mexican film of private investment that took place in the municipality of Tulum, in the state of Quintana Roo, during the months of February and March of this year, in Bahia Principe Grand Tulum, PGA Riviera Maya and the residential Tulum Country Club mainly, being the perfect locations where this comedy film takes place.
This project is being produced by the Mexican production company “No Idea Entertainment” in association with “Zima Entertainment”, “CDC United Network” and Cinépolis and is scheduled to be released in theaters by the end of 2023. The production is in charge of producer Luis Vizcaino, whose most recent productions include: “Treintona, soltera y fantástica”, “El que busca encuentra” and “Inquilinos”, directed by Luis Kuri, who has directed “Desiese knows no brothers” and “Érase una vez”; this being his feature film debut.
Cinematography is by multi-award winning cinematographer Tonatiuh Martínez, recognized for his work in “Polvo”, “Run coyote run” and “Las oscuras primaveras”, with a script by Ricardo Avilés, with experience in “Las Vocales”, “Lotería del crimen”, “Reputación dudosa”, “La divina gula”, “Médicos” and “Bronco” and a magnificent cast of actors,
The synopsis of the story is based on a group of five “muégano” friends, who believe they cannot live without each other. That is until Luis (Ricardo Abarca, well-known actor of “¿Qué culpa tiene el niño?” and “El repatriado”), tells them that he is going to marry Gaby (Carolina Miranda, great actress of “Quién Mató a Sara”, “Dani Who” and “Señora Acero”), his fiancée.
The news upsets Norma (Ana González Bello, who worked in “Las Vocales “Comandante Harina” and “el Club”), Roberto (Jesús Zavala, known for his role as Hugo Sánchez in the series “Club de Cuervos”, “Dime Cuando Tú”, “Ninis”, “La Boda de Valentina among others), Fabián (Oswaldo Zárate, “De brutas nada”, “Run coyote run”, “40 y 20”) -and especially Sandra (Cassandra Sánchez Navarro, from an acting dynasty and being one of the great young promises as in “Cindy la Regia”, “Enfermo Amor”, “Malcriados”, and “La Bella y las Bestias”), who definitely do not agree with his decision.
Two nights before the wedding, the friends find the perfect opportunity to get rid of Gaby when they think they hear she is unfaithful to Luis. Now they have 48 hours to find out who she is cheating on him with, convince Luis and stop the ceremony before the “yes, I do”.
In addition to the participation of actors of the stature of: Guillermo Quintanilla, Mar Carrera, Andy Chávez de Moore, Alexa Anaya, Harding Junior, Nico Galán, Hugo Catalán.
