Free High-Speed Internet Coming Soon

TULUM, Mexico – In an ambitious move to connect the picturesque landscapes of Quintana Roo with the digital world, Gignet has announced its plans to expand free high-speed public internet access across the region, starting with Tulum. Following the successful deployment of internet modules at Playa Delfines and Kilómetro 0 in Cancún, the initiative aims to enhance the experience for both residents and tourists by ensuring seamless digital connectivity.

The forthcoming internet stations in Tulum are designed to cater to the modern traveler’s needs, boasting an impressive coverage of over 50 linear meters each and the capacity to support at least 250 devices simultaneously. This means that visitors and locals alike can enjoy high-quality video calls and streaming services without interruption, even in the most remote of Tulum’s stunning beaches or amidst its vibrant town.

This expansion is particularly timely, as Tulum’s recent infrastructural developments, including an airport and a Maya Train station, underline the growing demand for robust internet services to complement the region’s booming tourism industry. The high-speed internet service in Playa Delfines in Cancún, which features a gigabyte bandwidth interface and four access points, each capable of serving 200 devices over a 50-meter range, sets a precedent for what Tulum can anticipate.

The initiative by Gignet not only promises to keep Tulum connected but also positions Quintana Roo as a forward-thinking destination that values both its natural beauty and the technological needs of its visitors. As this digital infrastructure project unfolds, it heralds a new era of connectivity, ensuring that Tulum remains a top choice for travelers seeking both adventure and accessibility.
