One of the entrances to Cenote Calavera. Undoubtedly, what makes Cenote Calavera unique is its singular shape.

Its access is through three holes that look like the eyes and mouth of a skull, hence its name. Being small in size, care must be taken when jumping from the shore or using the stairs to enter. Once in the cenote it is possible to admire the ancient cave that surrounds it, and enjoy the jungle that surrounds this unique place.

We recommend arriving early, when there are fewer people, because it is a small place.
