A Sea of Pink: Tulum’s Aldea Zama Lights Up for a Cause

TULUM, Mexico – The Mexican Association of Women Entrepreneurs (Amexme) led the pink lighting ceremony at the Aldea Zamá complex on the occasion of International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, which took place on October 19th.

Violeta Novelo Zapata, Vice President of Amexme’s Tulum chapter, announced their participation in this campaign by illuminating the entire path with pink lights.

“This event is to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Day. Nationally, Amexme initiated a campaign to illuminate significant areas in the places we live,” she stated.

She emphasized that, in this case, it was in Block 12 of the residential complex Aldea Zamá. The purpose of this initiative is to raise awareness among women and sensitize them to this delicate issue, particularly for those going through this challenging situation.
