For the first time Tulum will have its own stand at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) 2023 in Madrid, Spain, where it will deploy a strategy called “Back to the origin”, announced Jorge Mario Molina, head of the General Directorate of Tourism and Economy.
He said that in this edition of Fitur 2023 Tulum will have a very elaborate promotional planning, with a tourist slogan that is “Tulum is Tulum” and a communication strategy of “Back To Your Region”, to promote the nature, culture and the set of attractions and various tourist services of the destination.
He added that all this is under an “umbrella” brand, which is Tulum and the wonders of the Mayan Caribbean.
He emphasized that on this occasion the Tulum City Hall will have its own stand for the first time, in order to better serve all those interested in visiting the destination, with the purpose of making all travel appointments directly.
He stated that Tulum is a fashionable destination worldwide that ranks among the top five in terms of social networks and also occupies a prominent place for the number of visitors it receives year after year.
“It is important that Tulum is at the level of those demands of the international tourism market, with a space quite well themed, with a series of promotional items of the destination,” said the official.
He explained that from January 18 to 22 (the days of the fair) the authorities, tourism service providers and entrepreneurs will be disseminating and sharing through social networks and Tulum’s own official tourism website https://tulumwelcomesyou.travel/ the participation and achievements in this international fair to be held in Madrid, Spain.
Jorge Mario Molina recalled that Tulum is recovering from the devastation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and it is necessary and important to have a presence in national and international events such as this one.
In an interview with the media, Marciano Dzul Caamal, municipal president of Tulum, announced that due to medical recommendations he will not travel to Spain to participate in this event, as he has done on previous occasions.
