Athletes from Tulum’s sports schools will seek to represent and obtain valuable prizes in the National Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (CONADE) 2023 games, with the backing and support of the administration presided over by Mayor Marciano Dzul Caamal.
This Thursday, the municipal government delivered uniforms to the athletes of the 12 municipal sports schools that will participate in the CONADE 2023 sports games. At the same time, the director of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Gómez Blancas, informed that this weekend the competitions begin and Tulum will be the official venue for the JUDO discipline.
He informed that the delegation of athletes from Tulum will be made up of 155 athletes in the disciplines of soccer, volleyball, beach volleyball, athletics, basketball, 3×3 basketball, chess, judo, boxing, taekwando, wrestling and weightlifting.
The official explained that the CONADE 2023 games will be divided into different phases, the state, then the regional, then the macro-regional and finally the national. In the course of all these Olympics Tulum will host and promote athletes worthy of representing the municipality.
Thus, the City Hall presided by Marciano Dzul Caamal supports the delegation of athletes from Tulum with transportation, lodging, food and uniforms, anticipating good results, after constant training.
The delivery of uniforms to the athletes, on behalf of the mayor, was attended by Councilwoman Fany Gallego Sanchez, who wished the best of success to all athletes and ratified the government’s commitment to sports.
