TULUM, Mexico – The municipality of Tulum, led by Diego Castañon Trejo, is solidifying its significance at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, becoming a key and strategic location for boosting the flow of tourists through southeastern Mexico.

During the opening of the impressive Tren Maya stand at the Mexican pavilion, Jorge Molina Perez, the Director of Tourism and Economy of the Municipal Government, presented various initiatives undertaken by the local authorities to structure new tourism services and products in a safe environment aimed at improving the well-being of the local population.

“In Tulum, both young people and women have opportunities to find employment or start their businesses, while reliable companies are provided with the tools to create positive experiences for travelers, encouraging them to return and recommend the destination,” stated the official at the Tourism Fair.

The Tulum delegation, comprised of the official, the Director of Promotion and Gender Perspective Transversalization, Maribel Cruz Rodriguez, and the Tourism Commissioner Councilor, Beatriz Anahí Mendoza Samos, emphasized that Tulum offers a wide range of tourism services. With the Tren Maya, they are confident that the influx will have a tangible impact on the economy of service providers and workers in the tourism sector of the ninth municipality.
