Tulum, Q.R. — Medical personnel from the municipality of Tulum attended to an elderly man who was a hit by a car. The man was hit by a vehicle along the federal 307 highway early Monday morning.
Passing motorists reported the highway hit and run. Paramedics found the man laying on the side of the highway near the entrance for Cenote Cristal. Personnel from Civil Protection also arrived at the 9:00 a.m. highway hit and run scene.
The man, who is reported to be around 60 and from Tabasco, was transferred to Playa del Carmen hospital in serious condition.
