The Tourism Promotion Council of Quintana Roo (CPTQ) announced the Bioferia 2023, to be held from February 24 to 26 this year in Tulum, the first time it is held in the state and the second time it is held in Mexico.

A participation of 5 thousand people and the presence of between 40 and 50 companies is expected.

Pablo Daniel Cusnir, executive director of Bioferia Mexico, explained that the main objective of this fair is to promote companies with sustainable projects, both large companies such as Epura, Rotoplas, Hyundai, M&M’s and others, as well as small producers.

For this purpose, there will be a space called “El Mercadito”, where producers and companies will be exhibiting their products to the public, with prices similar to those in the markets.

Mari Irabién emphasized that this type of event helps to expand the state’s tourism offer, as well as to raise awareness about environmental care and sustainable development, which is why the CPTQ together with the Secretary of Ecology and Environment will be supporting the fair in its promotion.

Finally, he mentioned that they hope this will be the first of many editions, so a possible second edition in the Riviera Maya or Cancun next 2024 is already underway, which will not only attract tourists or expose the projects of the region, but also attract investments in them.
