A man was shot and injured after allegedly having words with a drug dealer, who fired a gun at him, when they were between the Tantra and Taboo nightclubs in Tulum.
On Tuesday night, around 22:30 hours, gunshots were reported at kilometer 7 of the Tulum-Boca Paila highway.
The police and the National Guard moved quietly to the place; however, the employees of the place denied everything, arguing that it was only a fight between two people.
Minutes later, it was reported that a person on board a black Mercedes Benz van had arrived at the CostaMed Hospital with a gunshot wound to the right knee.
According to preliminary information, the wounded man was an active agent of the National Intelligence Center (CNI), but it is not known what he was doing in the place, it is believed that they were investigating, while others assure that he was just on vacation.
Ministerial agents arrived at the hospital, but they were denied access to the injured, and even received a call ordering them to leave.
