Furthermore, these achievements align with the objectives of the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo, which seeks to foster shared prosperity for all, embodying the profound transformation tirelessly pursued by Governor Mara Lezama, around the clock.
As an annual tradition, Tripadvisor honors the “best of the best” among destinations, hotels, restaurants, and various activities worldwide, based on the reviews and ratings of travelers using the platform. The winners for this year, up until now, are a reflection of the experiences from 2022, and Tripadvisor will periodically unveil them.
The Mexican Caribbean stands out in the majority of these categories, securing multiple positions in each of them.
Among the most popular destinations worldwide, Cancún grabs an impressive 6th position, closely followed by Playa del Carmen at 11th. In the category of the most popular destinations in Mexico, Cancún claims the top spot, with Playa del Carmen taking the second position. Tulum secures the fifth spot, while Costa Mujeres and Cozumel rank seventh and eighth, respectively.
In terms of nature destinations that showcase outdoor activities and breathtaking landscapes, Quintana Roo is represented by Cozumel, securing the 19th position.
When it comes to the world’s finest beaches, Playa Norte in Isla Mujeres occupies the commendable 23rd position, claiming the top spot in Mexico. Continuing the list of Mexico’s most beautiful beaches, El Cielo in Cozumel ranks 4th, Puerto Morelos 8th, and Playa Delfines in Cancún 9th.
Turning our attention to the hotels of the Mexican Caribbean, Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancún takes the 21st spot in the category of the world’s best hotels, closely followed by Atelier Playa Mujeres at 22nd.
In the category of small hotels, Hotel Ma’xanab Tulum secures the 20th position, while Mvngata Boutique Hotel takes the 23rd.
Ranking among the Best Family Hotels is The Royal Haciendas All Suites Resort & Spa at the impressive 24th position.
In the All-Inclusive Hotels category, Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun claims the 8th spot, followed by Atelier Playa Mujeres at 9th. Hotel Xcaret Mexico and Excellence Riviera Cancun take the consecutive positions of 15th and 23rd, respectively.
