Children’s Day in Tulum kicked off with energy and wonder on April 30, as families gathered at the city’s sports complex for an event designed to spark joy and imagination. Organized as a tribute to the youngest members of the community, the celebration blended live entertainment, surprise gifts, and a prehistoric twist that captivated visitors of all ages.
Jurassic Park Experience Offers a Journey Through Time
One of the day’s biggest attractions was the unveiling of Jurassic Park Tulum, an immersive pop-up experience featuring life-size dinosaur replicas and interactive exhibits. Children were invited to step into a world millions of years old, posing for photos, learning curious facts, and enjoying a playful yet educational escape from the everyday.
“We wanted to create something truly special for the kids,” shared one of the organizers. “And what better way to celebrate than with dinosaurs, music, and community spirit?”
Star Performances and Special Guests
The festive mood was elevated by the arrival of Tatiana, one of Mexico’s most beloved children’s performers, who lit up the stage with her signature songs and infectious energy. Laughter echoed across the venue as parents and children sang along, danced, and joined in on the fun.
Adding to the sense of occasion, Governor Mara Lezama made a special appearance, sharing warm words with the crowd and reaffirming the administration’s commitment to creating inclusive, joyful spaces for children and families across the region.
An Invitation to Explore
Though the main festivities took place from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on April 30, the Jurassic Park exhibit will remain open through Sunday, giving more families the chance to experience the magic. With free admission and a welcoming atmosphere, the event stands as a vibrant example of how public spaces can foster connection, learning, and celebration.
Children’s Day in Tulum is more than a calendar date—it’s a reminder of the power of community and the importance of nurturing joy in the next generation.
