Tulum Beer Fest: A Blend of Tradition and Taste

TULUM, México – This past weekend, the second annual Beer Festival in Tulum not only met but exceeded expectations, drawing hundreds of Mexican and international beer enthusiasts to the scenic town. This event, held on Saturday and Sunday at Hunab Square at the entrance of Aldea Zama on Cobá Avenue, offered a rich taste of artisanal brews, local cuisine, and the craftsmanship of Maya artisans and producers.

Following the success of its inaugural event in 2023, the festival returned with a promise of cultural immersion and local flavors. Fátima González, a member of the organizing committee, reported that nearly a thousand attendees, including residents and tourists, enjoyed the two-day festivity. The festival’s aim was precise: to showcase the richness of Tulum’s craft beer scene and the heritage of its Maya community.

The festival has become a platform for these artisans to share their products and crafts with a broader audience, featuring live music, dances, and Maya rituals to enrich the experience.
