Fly Direct to Tulum with Delta’s Latest Routes

Delta Airlines is to launch new flights to Tulum in March 2024, enhancing U.S.-Mexico travel with direct routes and expanding Caribbean connectivity.

TULUM, Mexico – Delta Airlines is set to expand its wings with the introduction of new flight routes connecting the United States to Mexico, including a direct route to the enchanting city of Tulum, slated to launch in March 2024. This move is part of the airline’s broader initiative to enhance connectivity between the U.S. and several Caribbean destinations, aiming to cater to the growing demand for travel to these exotic locales.

The announcement revealed plans for a new service from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, starting December 21, 2024, and from Tulum in March, with reservations for Tulum having been open since October last year. The Tulum route, operating from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and the Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport in Tulum (TQO), promises travelers an uninterrupted journey to one of Mexico’s most sought-after destinations. Similarly, the service to Mazatlán will operate three times a week from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP).

Delta’s expansion doesn’t stop at Mexico. The airline is set to launch daily flights from Atlanta to Barbados and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic starting November 23, 2024. Additionally, it will increase its daily flights to Curacao from Atlanta, beginning on the same date, and will offer continuous service to 50 Caribbean destinations throughout the winter of 2024-2025.
