Chef Ramiro López Puts Tulum on the Culinary Map in Israel

TULUM, Mexico – Renowned Tulum chef, Ramiro López, is currently representing Mexico in a culinary extravaganza unfolding in Israel, aimed at showcasing the exquisite culinary offerings of our beloved destination. This exciting news was disclosed by Mario Cruz Rodríguez, the President of the Tourism Promotion Council of Tulum.

López, who is at the epicenter of this gastronomic celebration, is lending his culinary prowess to the esteemed Loco Tulum restaurant, nestled along kilometer 9.3 of the scenic Tulum-Boca Paila highway, as they embark on their captivating Pop-Up event.

It’s worth noting that this remarkable event has garnered support from various quarters, including the Chamber of Commerce, the Mexican Embassy in this Middle Eastern nation, and, of course, the Tourism Promotion Council of Tulum.

Cruz Rodríguez fervently emphasized that Loco Tulum boasts a tantalizing fusion of national and international cuisines, effectively serving as a delectable ambassador for the Tulum region through its gastronomic offerings.

Importantly, Rodríguez clarified that the Pop-Up is not a culinary competition, but rather an interactive showcase of the diverse array of dishes meticulously crafted and curated by Loco Tulum. These dishes encompass the rich and distinct culinary flavors of the region, as well as those from across the globe.

“This endeavor is a collaborative effort involving the private sector, spearheaded by the globally acclaimed Loco Tulum. It’s a prominent establishment that birthed this initiative. Naturally, it enjoys the unwavering support of the Tourism Promotion Council of Tulum, the Mexican Embassy, the Mexico-Israel Chamber of Commerce, and several other enterprises,” underscored Rodríguez.
