However, Molina notes that the impact of this tourism segment is still being meticulously studied to quantify its full economic benefits.

According to the Quintana Roo Tourism Secretariat (SEDETUR), the city boasts an impressive 89.1% hotel occupancy rate just two weeks before the start of the spring season.
