The Christmas village opens its doors in Tulum

“What was promised is a debt and we fulfill the debts,” said the municipal president Marciano Dzul Caamal when he led the lighting of the Tulum Christmas village tonight, which includes a tunnel and the traditional Christmas tree.

Accompanied by his wife, Lic. Ileana Canul de Dzul, his children, the trustee, aldermen and aldermen, but above all, families who were waiting anxiously, the mayor cut the opening ribbon of the Christmas tunnel that was accompanied by fireworks.

“Today we are here to enjoy the lighting of this Christmas village in Tulum. This villa is for the family. Remember that the month of December is a month in which we should all enjoy it together. For this reason we could not let such a special date go by ”, he expressed.

Boys, girls and parents present lived this emotional moment and took the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus and his authorities.

The Christmas village, the tunnel, the tree and each December set is located next to the municipal palace, everything was illuminated with Christmas lights.

The mayor was accompanied at the lights-on event by the municipal trustee, María Teresa Arana Sánchez, councilors Paulina Malpica Yanes, Fanny Gallegos Sanchez and councilors Alfredo Dzul Cabañas and David Tah Balam, officials and families from Tulum.
