Aeroméxico Boosts Tulum’s Tourism with Fresh Flights
TULUM, Mexico – In a move set to enhance connectivity within the Quintana Roo region, Aeroméxico has announced plans to initiate flight operations from the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) to the brand-new Tulum International Airport, starting December 1st. The airline is set to provide travelers with 14 weekly flights along this fresh route.
This development offers an additional travel option for both domestic and international travelers, originating from various destinations including Tijuana, Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Toronto, San Francisco, and Chicago, among others. These flights will be serviced using Embraer 190 aircraft.
Aeroméxico is set to strengthen its presence in Quintana Roo, where it already offers connectivity and services to Cancún, Chetumal, and Cozumel, in addition to the new Tulum route. The overall monthly seat capacity in the state is expected to exceed 221,000, marking a 6% increase compared to the current operation. Detailed flight itineraries and ticket sales will be made available in the coming days.
